It publishes reports and peer reviewed articles that focus on how exactly this industry can be made more "circular".

Canon has been providing a toner cartridge recycling programme since 1990 for all Canon genuine all in one laser cartridges (Canon toner cartridges used in i-Sensys type machines). Today the official programme operates in 18 countries across Europe.
The programme is free of charge to customers within selected geographies across Europe and has been designed to be easy to use to further encourage recycling, using web based systems where customers can download a free post return label.

Advanced Dry Recovery (ADR) technology upgrades fine non-ferrous metals from municipal waste-to-energy ash
The Inashco ash recycling consists of an on-site concentrator (ADR) and a centralized upgrading facility. The ADR together with conventional Eddy Current Separators, produce a fine non-ferrous concentrate and a clean marketable mineral aggregate. The non-ferrous concentrate is transported to the Inashco proprietary upgrading facility to be upgraded into metal scrap products.
The main objective of SEA-MATTER is to demonstrate and validate the reuse of coastal algae and seaweed accumulations as raw materials in composites industry.

JLG, a company that takes machines back to a dedicated reconditioning facility after their first use cycle and repairs and restores them to original specification, builded a business model that integrates the recovery of assets.
This allowed their financial partner to develop a complete finance offering for JLG’s new and reconditioned assets, including rental solutions.
In one of its terminals, Schiphol Airport runs the project "Light as a service" whereby it pays for the light produced, while its two partners Philips and Cofely remain the owners of the lamps and fittings.
Thanks to this innovative partnership, maintenance costs are reduced and recyclability and reusability of the lighting and framing guaranteed.
