Main results

The Centre for Validation Technologies and Analytics at the Slovenian National Institute of Chemistry performed two tests, one with and one without PlanetCare filter incorporated into the washing machine. One washing cycle produces 1403,95mg of plastic fibres that go through the drain water into the sewing system. The incorporated filter was able to collect 1105,59mg of plastic fibres in the first washing cycle.
