Description

Po-Dzielnia is a freeshop and sharing economy centre in Poland. It is run by a team of nearly two dozen volunteers and five activists.

A freeshop is a place where you can bring pre-loved goods such as clothes, accessories, household items, books or home décor and take whatever is in stock that was left there by others like you. The items left at the shop have to be clean and in good, usable condition.

Po-Dzielnia also functions as a sharing economy centre, organising meetings and debates on zero waste philosophy and promoting upcycling through workshops and repair cafés. Their mission is not only to extend the lifecycle of consumer goods and help those in need, but also to teach people to use what they already have instead of buying everything brand-new.

Main results
  • Promoting re-use and repair
  • Raising awareness about the need to limit consumption
