The 2nd National Conference on the Circular Economy is scheduled for March 19 in Rome and will be livestreamed.

The webstreamed conference will present the 2020 Report on the Circular Economy in Italy. It will be introduced by Edo Ronchi, President of the Circular Economy Network, and Roberto Morabito, Director of the Department for Sustainability, ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development), and President of the Italian Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ICESP).

The 2020 report, developed in collaboration with ENEA, will take stock of the circular economy in Italy focusing on the regenerative bioeconomy.

This key topic can contribute to consolidate the future of sectors such as agri-food and to open new possibilities, in particular with the relaunch of abandoned industrial areas and marginal territories.

The conference is organized by the Circular Economy Network, promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development, together with companies and business associations.
