On 23 May, the AL-INVEST Verde programme launched its second call for proposals.

The five-year programme, funded by the European Union, aims to support the transition towards a low-carbon, resource-efficient and more circular economy. It promotes initiatives to enable micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Latin America to implement more efficient and less polluting processes and products, while adopting more sustainable consumption patterns.

One of the main components of the programme is the implementation of innovative projects that promote sustainable growth in the region and arise from partnerships between Latin American and European Union organisations. These projects are selected competitively, through calls for proposals.

Two online information workshops (on 5 June at 14:30 CEST and on 13 June at 10:00 CEST) will be organised for associations, chambers of commerce and other institutions representing the private sector, research centres and think tanks. During the workshops, an overview of the programme as well as full information on the second call will be presented. The events will be held in English.
