Scope

In Europe, approximately 88 million tonnes of food - about 20% of all food produced! - is wasted every year across the entire value chain. Food waste must be addressed if we are to achieve better food security, responsible use of natural resources and sustainable economic growth. This will entail urging the various players along the supply chain to handle food responsibly, a process involving a host of steps from promoting sustainable business models and utilising innovative technology to improved nutritional and consumption approaches. With less than 10 years left to meet the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, this topic is more crucial than ever.

Join this webinar on 19 September 2022 at 10:30 - 12:30 CEST and see how Danish, Belgian and Dutch companies are embracing digital and technological innovation to deliver on food waste prevention.

This event will be a chance to discuss good practices regarding the reduction of food waste, including how we can make the best use of innovative solutions and data in order to transform our food systems to ensure enhanced food security and sustainable business opportunities.
