Fast-tracking a Circular Economy in the EU
Despite advancements at the EU and national policy levels, achieving a large-scale industrial ‘circular’ transformation is by no means an easy task, and there are multiple challenges to be resolved in the coming years.
With a new five-year policy cycle on the horizon, the conference Fast-tracking a Circular Economy in the EU, co-organised by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and GLOBE EU, will take stock of actions aimed at advancing towards a circular economy, and discuss priorities for the new Commission and European Parliament.
Some information about the organisers:
- Founded in Brussels in 1983, CEPS is a leading think tank and forum for debate on EU affairs, with a strong in-house research capacity and an extensive network of partner institutes throughout the world.
- Within the European Parliament, GLOBE EU serves as a platform for discussing European Commission policy proposals and for coordinating political action among like-minded legislators in the EP and at Member State level.
