This series of live webinars called LOOPs is an opportunity to show what cutting-edge research has been produced, and which changes it can bring to our communities.

In this third episode on 18 November at 11.00-12.00 CET the exciting and innovative work that is being done to improve the life cycle of textiles across Europe will be on show, thanks to an interesting talk with Veronica Sarbach  representing GRETE and Tanja Meyer representing Glaukos, two Horizon 2020 projects focused on improving the life cycle of textiles.

The GRETE project will improve the existing wood-to-textile value chains by developing breakthrough technologies that can pen up the identified bottlenecks and enable increased production of man-made cellulose fibres in Europe.

The Glaukos project looks at circular solutions for the textile industry, by developing biobased textile fibres and textile coatings that will improve the life cycle of textiles.
