The Italian Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ICESP) was established in 2018 under the leadership of ENEA as a mirror platform of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP), to which it contributes as a member of the ECESP Coordination Group. ICESP promotes the Italian way for circular economy through the involvement of Italian stakeholders committed to the issue and through their participation within several working groups related to circular economy’s specific topics and sectors. To date more than one hundred stakeholders from business, institutions, research and civil society have participated in the process.

The main outcomes from working groups activities will be presented during the second ICESP annual conference, which will take place on 27 and 28 November 2019 in Rome. The conference will provide and share ideas, methods and knowledge to boost the dialogue between stakeholders in order to identify priorities for a national strategic agenda of the circular economy.
