The Accelerator Session of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) titled The power of partnerships: Stakeholder Engagement Platform Circular STEP will look into how partnerships and regional stakeholder platforms drive the circular economy transition, particularly in regions where circular practices are emerging.

These platforms act as vital links, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among diverse stakeholders. They bridge the gap between those starting their circular journey and those already advanced in circular practices.

The session will be held in Brussels (Mission of The Republic of Serbia to the European Union, Boulevard du Regent 53) on 17 April 2024 at 13:30-15:00 CEST, co-organized by UNECE and the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union. 
 
Participants will gain insights into applying circular principles in national strategies, aiming to inspire global stakeholders to adopt similar approaches. 

The session will be led by Elisabeth Türk, Director of UNECE Economic Cooperation and Trade Division, and Sandra Dokic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Republic of Serbia.
