This webinar, to take place on Thursday 25 February from 9 to 10.30 a.m. EST, is a pre-event of the World Circular Economy Forum + Climate (WCEF+Climate), co-hosted by the EU Delegation and the Permanent Missions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Singapore, Kenya and Finland. It aims to discuss the potential of the circular economy as an essential tool in a comprehensive and effective climate policy.

The conclusions of this meeting will lay the foundation for further discussions at the WCEF+Climate on 15 April 2021, hosted by the Netherlands, together with Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund, in cooperation with partners across the world. The conference aims to make circular economy approaches more ambitious, a prerequisite for achieving climate neutrality.

The webinar will be moderated by Jocelyn Blériot, Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
