The third edition of the World Bioeconomy Forum (WCBEF) will be broadcast live from Ruka, Finland, on 10 September 2020. The event will provide delegates with a high-quality, interactive platform, and will engage prominent Circular Bioeconomy stakeholders in active discussions on an agenda for coordinated action to build a sustainable future.

The full programme will last six hours and consist of four specific sessions:

  1. Regulators and Climate Change
  2. Global Leaders and Financial World
  3. Bioproducts around us
  4. Looking to the Future.

In each of these sessions, the WCBEF has once again attracted the most prominent speakers in their respective fields to share their views. The audience can contribute interactively on message walls and arrange online meetings with the other participants using the technology and channels provided.

The Covid-19 pandemic has emphasised the importance of the bioeconomy even further. The Forum aims to raise awareness that social and economic development can be more sustainable and encourage the use of latest innovative developments to increase the efficient use of natural resources.
