Projects under the Horizon Europe call on Advancing sustainable maintenance and repair measures for existing buildings must look at extending the life of buildings, reducing their environmental impact and facilitating the use of predictive maintenance.

Proposals should develop at least one prospective LCA-based decision-support tool for predictive maintenance and repair of existing buildings and one circular and affordable package of maintenance and repair measures to extend the estimated service life of existing buildings.

Proposals should be demonstrated on three buildings, including at least one heritage building and at least one social and affordable housing project, located in three different Member States and/or Associated Countries. They must also consider replication, identify barriers and propose solutions.

A range of actors and disciplines must be involved. 

Activities are expected to achieve TRL 6-8 by the end of the project.
