The region of Tuscany is offering financing for Tuscan SMEs investing in the set-up or development of industrial systems for recovering and processing waste. 

Eligible investments include facilities and equipment for processing, sorting and recovering materials and upgrading processing of special waste (industrial, construction and demolition, WEEE and packaging) and urban waste (through agreements with public service managers), systems for monitoring and tracking waste flows, technologies for reducing rejects and industrial symbiosis. 

The SMEs must:

• be based on Tuscany, 
• be active in manufacturing, construction, waste management or industrial services,
• submit an investment programme in line with the circular economy and waste recovery,
• not have received public funds for this investment,
• have met all their tax obligations.

A total budget of EUR 15 million is available. Financing is capped at 60% of the total investment for micro and small enterprises and 50% for medium sized enterprises.
