The Research Chair "Transitioning Belgian companies into Circularity" was launched by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in September 2018, and it has been since promoted by the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB).

Its aim is to contribute to the transition of enterprises into the circular economy by working with companies in order to develop tools that help them innovate by collaborating.

On 27 March 2019 the Chair is organising its first interactive seminar, entitled "What can cities, companies and citizens do?", which will aim to answer the following questions:

• What is the circular economy?
• Which advantages can circularity bring to both citizens and companies?
• How can companies transition and be effective change agents?
