The Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) is a new EU funding programme focused on bringing digital technology to businesses, citizens and public administrations. The calls for proposals are now open for submissions for Digital Product Passport: sustainable and circular systems. The deadline is 22 February 2022.

The work entails delivering digital product passport prototypes. It will support the goals of the Green Deal and in particular the Circular Economy Action Plan’s Sustainable Product Initiative, the EU Digital Strategy’s Circular Electronics Initiative and the EU Data Strategy by improving product sustainability, boosting material and energy efficiency and enabling new business models and circular value extraction based on data sharing.
