ORIENTING LCSA, which stands for Operational Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Methodology Supporting Decisions Towards a Circular Economy, is a Horizon research project which seeks to develop a robust and operational methodology for the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment of products. This draft methodology will be open for stakeholder feedback until 27 May.

The purpose of an LCSA is to help assess the sustainability performance of a company or product in a comprehensive, consistent and practical way. It takes into account the three pillars of sustainability: social, environmental and economic impacts. Benefits from using an LCSA for a business include cost reduction, a sustainable business culture, high reputational value and optimised risk management.

In order to participate in the public consultation, you will need to register in the ORIENTING Stakeholders’ space
