The European Commission, together with Studio Feschi&Soci, Green Soluce, Alda and ACCIO, is organising a capacity-building event on Environmental Footprint on Tuesday 28 February 2023 from 10:00 to 14:00 CET in Barcelona, Spain.

The Environmental Footprint methods measure and communicate about the environmental performance of products (both goods and services) and organisations across their whole lifecycle. They rely on scientifically-sound assessment methods agreed at international level and cover 16 environmental impacts (including climate change) and impacts on water, air, resources, land use and toxicity. The general methods are accompanied by product- and organisation- specific calculation rules, making it possible to compare the environmental performance of similar products and companies active in similar sectors.

The European Commission invites all stakeholders to join this event to learn more about Environmental Footprint assessment and the PEF / OEF methods. This will be a local event held mainly in Spanish, but it will be organised in hybrid format to enable remote participants to join.
