Measuring what matters: AI and transparency in bio-based products (agri-food based bio-products)
The ARGONAUT project (AI-powered environmental impact assessment for a circular economy) is developing an AI-driven tool to assess the environmental and climate impact of, map production options for, and optimise resource use of bio-based products.
JASON assesses the environmental and climate impact of bio-based products across their whole lifecycle. It also generates a Digital Bio-product Passport (DBP) which producers can use to back up their environmental claims.
This is the first of two online workshops demonstrating the updated JASON AI-driven tool.
Focusing on agri-food bio-products from Lithuania, it will bring together SME producers, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers and civil society to explore how AI and transparency are reshaping the way we assess the environmental footprint of bio-based products.
The event will provide a live demonstration of the updated JASON tool, using an agri-food bio-product example. It will also present the Digital Bio-product Passport framework and look at how AI-driven life cycle assessment can support SMEs and policymakers.
This webinar will take place at 10:00–11:30 CET on 10 November via Zoom. Registration.
