Eceplast is producing a special type of industrial packaging, so called Linerbags, used to load and ship bulk commodities (mainly chemicals) in standard sea box containers.
Linerbags are currently made of LDPE film with the addition of other secondary materials (i.e. adhesive tapes with fiberglass, elastic rubber rings and other PP components). When the Linerbags’ life cycle is complete, they are collected and disposed as waste material or eventually if all the different components are sorted and collected could be recycled but with a very expensive manual process that was only possible when China was importing plastic wastes.
Eceplast has now re-designed the Linerbag in order to achieve a single material packaging, exclusively made of LDPE, to enable its easy and full recycling process. Furthermore, Eceplast is now implementing a network of pressing and bailing machines to collect the used Linerbags directly at customers’ sites, reprocessing the used Linerbags to get high quality grade of recycled granules. The final goal would be to collect and recycle 2.000/2.500 Ton per year to be used for the production of new recycled Linerbags.
