REPLACE is an Interreg Europe project aimed at improving the management, implementation and monitoring of regional policy instruments targeted at facilitating the transition towards a circular economy, while boosting sustainable development: its main operative target is the development and application of policies and actions focusing on identification, valorization, assessment and financing of circular value chains, resulting in new local and interregional projects.
REPLACE is to develop a replicable framework for regional benchmark on circularity excellence level.
The first REPLACE Learning Event will be hosted by Frysland Province in Leeuwarden on 3 and 4 December 2019. On the first day, the focus will be on SCREEN Local Analysis and Mapping Tool, followed by REPLACE first Circularity Tour. The second day will target the Benchmark methodology to assess the level of 'circularity' in each region.
