On 29 September 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon CEST, the Environmental Technology Verification programme (ETV) will host an online webinar on ETV’s potential to help innovators, investors and buyers become more familiar with verifying new environmental technologies. ETV seeks to boost the uptake of new innovative environmental technologies and so to contribute to the circular economy. 

During the two-hour online webinar, speakers will discuss the ways in which ETV can benefit technology developers, investors, buyers and policy makers. This includes the relevant policy context and how ETV fits into the Green New Deal, the circular economy, zero pollution and more. To inspire more innovative green innovators to verify their technologies, we will share relevant case studies from previously verified technologies.

In addition, the Head of the European Pollution Prevention and Control Bureau will talk about ETV as an environmental policy support tool. Colleagues from the LIFEproETV project will also discuss ETV and touch on ETV’s relevance for Green Public Procurement. Following the case studies, a question and answer section will give you the chance to ask any burning questions you have about the verification process or EU ETV in general.
