The International Seminar on Plastic Characterisation took place on 29 and 30 October, hosted by AIMPLAS, the Plastics Technology Centre. About a hundred international specialists discussed the latest analytical techniques applied to plastic characterisation, environmental degradation and the challenges of the circular economy. For the fourth year in a row, Ljubljana welcomed students from across Europe to co-create circular solutions in the heart of Slovenia. From 30 June to 4 July, 40 students took part in the Ecotopia Summer School, a programme which focuses on the circular economy through hands-on learning, collaboration and real-world application.

EU Green Week is here! It will run from 3 to 5 June, and will comprise a huge range of events. The ECESP will be one of the organisers, and so will be involved in some sessions and hosting others. Have a look at the programme!

This year, EU Green Week will focus on circular solutions for a competitive EU. It will explore how the EU economy can speed up the transition from linear to circular models of production and consumption.

The World Circular Economy Forum is one of the biggest circular events of the year. WCEF2025 will take place in São Paulo, Brazil on 13-16 May under the heading Tropical solutions for sustainable growth!

The programme has now been released, with a rich selection of plenaries and parallel sessions.

EU Green Week goes circular!

Pencil down 3-5 June for EU Green Week 2025 - Circular solutions for a competitive EU in Brussels. 

On 3-4 June, the conference will feature high-level debates on policy aspects of circular economy. On 5 June, in-depth discussions among stakeholders will focus on unleashing the circular economy’s potential for a competitive and resource-efficient Europe.

Nordic Circular Summit 2024 was the biggest conference on the circular economy in the Nordic region and an official World Circular Economy Forum Side Event.
