Following the success of the sixth European Food & Beverage Plastic Packaging Summit which brought 100+ senior industry professionals to Antwerp in February 2022, the event will be returning to Belgium. The seventh Summit will take place in Antwerp on 15-16 February 2023.

Following the success of Lignofuels 2022 which brought 150+ senior industry professionals to Helsinki in June 2022, we are pleased to announce that the 2023 conference will be taking place in Helsinki again on 8-9 February 2023.

The purpose of the 5th International Conference on Bio-Based Building Materials in June 2023 is to present the latest available scientific and technical information in the field of bio-based building materials, natural fibres, earthen ramped, innovative hybrid composites, natural fibres, sustainable binders for sustainability and energy efficiency of buildings.

On Thursday 23 June 2022, from 13:30 to 15:30 CEST, the United Nations Environment Program will be hosting a webinar to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Life Cycle Initiative. The event will take stock of how Life Cycles Approaches have accelerated the transition to sustainable consumption and production.

The Circular Week is a series of events and initiatives dedicated to circular economy and sustainable development, taking place across Europe. It aims to promote the idea of circular economy, support sustainable business models and establish cooperation between stakeholders.

What are your plans for May? ACR+ will kick off an entire month dedicated to innovation and circular economy in waste management. Through several events, ACR+ will showcase some of its activities and projects fostering innovative approaches and practices to reach a circular economy.

The Czech Circular Hotspot will be launched on 12 April with an opening ceremony in the Kampus Hybernská in Prague. The event is organized by the Czech Institute of Circular Economy.

AIMPLAS organises its 1^st International Seminar on Biotechnology Applied to the Plastics Sector on 1-2 March 2022, to discuss the main RDI developments and global solutions for the entire value chain. It tackles the use of organic waste to obtain new plastics, enzymatic recycling processes for plastics, the role of biotechnology in recovering complex waste, converting plastic industry scrap, etc.

The Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference is the main gathering of the European Circular Economy community. Now in its 5th edition, the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee joined forces with the French EU Council Presidency to organise this flagship stakeholder conference on 1 and 2 March 2022.

The ECESP Coordination Group members will present Europe's pioneering work in the field of the circular economy to a global audience on 17-18 January 2022 during the Europe Circular Days in Dubai. European Commissioners, MEPs, and other EU institutions' representatives will join the event to present Europe's vision for the circular economy.
