Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026: call for proposals!
The Global Bioeconomy Summit will take place on 20-21 October in Dublin, Ireland. It will bring together international leaders, researchers, policymakers, industry innovators and civil society to explore how the bioeconomy can drive socio-economic transformation and climate action.
Participants will explore successful examples of bioeconomy solutions, examine policies and investment frameworks needed to scale them, and discuss how biobased approaches can address interconnected global challenges such as climate change, food security and sustainable livelihoods.
The organisers are calling for:
- proposals for workshops from organisations, individuals and initiatives. These workshops will deepen understanding, test ideas, discuss real-world bioeconomy solutions, build partnerships and explore opportunities for advancing the global bioeconomy. Deadline: 8 May.
- proposals for satellite activities and site visits. Satellite activities (meetings and events) will be on 19 October. They will be held adjacent to the Summit and focus on the bioeconomy. Bioeconomy-related site visits will take place on 22 October across the Island of Ireland. Deadline: 11 May.
