Level(s) foundations conference for buildings professionals committed to sustainability and circularity

The European Commission's DG Environment invites people working in the built environment sector to take part in a conference introducing and exploring Level(s), the EU common language for assessing and measuring the sustainability performance of buildings.

Developed by the European Commission, Level(s) is an assessment and reporting tool that can be applied to each stage of a building’s lifecycle. It helps buildings professionals, investors and policy makers make Europe’s built environment more sustainable and circular.

The Level(s) foundations conference will enable participants to get informed, get inspired and get started with the EU approach to building sustainably.

Learn about:

  • How Level(s) works and how it can be applied at each stage of a building’s lifecycle to assess and monitor sustainability performance
  • How Level(s) helps professionals in the construction sector to stay on top of EU sustainability policies and laws
  • How the Level(s) eLearning programme prepares you to start using Level(s) in your working environment
  • How the calculation and assessment tool makes it easier to carry out sustainability performance assessments

Participants will hear from the More Life to Level(s) project which is developing real world case studies on using Level(s) and be able to ask expert speakers for advice.

Who should attend?

  • Professionals involved in designing, planning, financing and executing building projects
  • Representatives of associations, agencies, cities and public authorities (including public procurement agents) with responsibility for the built environment (building/construction, real estate, etc.)

This event is hosted by Ecorys Brussels on behalf of DG Environment.

There is no charge for participating, and the conference will take place online on Tuesday 10 December at 10:00–12:30 CET.
