Side session introducing the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform
This side session is part of the OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector which will take place on 11-12 February. The Forum is a leading international event on due diligence in the garment and footwear sector where governments, businesses, trade unions, civil society, international organisations and academia come together to discuss key and emerging labour, human rights, integrity and environmental issues facing the sector and how to address them.
This side session will introduce the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform, a European Commission initiative designed to support stakeholders across the textiles ecosystem value chain.
This webinar will cover:
- how the platform serves as a one-stop shop for news, funding opportunities, events and pledges driving transformation;
- the platform’s main features and how to become a member;
- recent initiatives, including a stakeholder pledge and the findings from a recent workshop on upskilling and reskilling, organised in collaboration with the EU Pact for Skills;
- opportunities for engagement, including future initiatives.
This webinar is organised by the European Commission's Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs together with the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency, EY and the SDA Bocconi School of Management.
