Scope

The RECREATE project (REcycling technologies for Circular REuse and remanufacturing of fiber-reinforced composite mATErials) aims to make the European manufacturing industry more competitive. It seeks to do so by means of innovative technologies which will turn end-of-life composite waste (mostly composites renforced with carbon and glass fibre) into useful feedstock.

The project is organising a conference exploring how Europe can turn circular composite technologies into real market opportunities. There will be presentations of advanced technologies and project results showcasing solutions that enable the circularity of composite materials and their value chains, from design to end-of-life. Panel discussions will address key enablers for market adoption, including:

  • Policy recommendations to support the implementation of circular composite solutions across Europe, and
  • Investors & industry panel focusing on the challenges of scaling up and adopting circular composite technologies in real market conditions.

The conference will explore trends in the EU composites market and highlight applications across sectors such as automotive, wind energy, aerospace, transport, construction, naval industries and sports.

This event will take place in English on 23 April at the Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre in Brussels and online. Registration.
