Earning a circular economy certification from CEA is a globally recognised achievement that demonstrates expertise in circular principles, sustainable business models, resource efficiency and systems-thinking methodologies.

They currently run three certification programmes:

• Circular Economy Professional (Foundational): gives participants an in-depth, comprehensive overview of foundational circular economy principles to get familiar with industry concepts.
• Circular Economy Manager (Advanced): participants can gain expertise in circular economy principles and applications.
• Circular Economy Specialist (High-Mastery): participants gain highly-specialised insights to drive industry change, advance their career and become a renowned expert in their field.

CEA also runs a range of circular economy courses such as Circular Business Models: Doing more, with less, for longer and Designing out waste: The challenges to full circularity. These are designed to help participants learn practical skills and frameworks essential for implementing circular economy principles. The circular economy courses are structured into modules, with each module focusing on a key aspect of sustainable business, resource management or waste minimisation. Participants earn a certificate of completion after finishing individual courses and build toward future certification.

The courses are 100% online in the form of pre-recorded video sessions written by experts and presented using modern instructional design.
