Measuring the impact of PaaS: quantifying environmental and social value
PACCT for sustainability aims to make service and sustainability the keystone of businesses across Europe and to build a European community focused on Product as a Service.
This webinar will look at how Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) models can contribute to the ecological and social transition, and more importantly, how their impact can be measured.
Organisations are exploring service-based models to move beyond linear consumption patterns, but the impact of these models must still be considered. PaaS is often associated with environmental benefits such as improved resource efficiency and extended product lifecycles, but it is difficult to quantify, particularly when it comes to social value. This webinar will bring together experts from academia, public institutions and industry to explore how the environmental and social impacts of PaaS can be assessed in practice.
It will look at environmental and social impact, along with the key methodological and operational challenges facing organisations.
Contributions from:
- ADEME will present insights from a study of six companies implementing service-based models
- Linköping University will share academic perspectives on impact assessment
- BOSCH will offer feedback from implementing PaaS solutions in both B2B and B2C contexts.
This event will take place online at 11:00-12:00 CEST on 1 July.
