European Conference on Circular Economy

At a key moment for the EU agenda, the European Conference on Circular Economy will address the main initiatives that will shape the new European circular economy framework, including the future European Circular Economy Act, as well as policies intended to promote the efficient use of resources, recycling, waste recovery and the development of markets for secondary raw materials

The event will also analyse the implementation of the new Regulation (EU) 2024/1157 on waste shipments and the challenges associated with managing waste movements at both European and national level.

With the participation of prominent institutional representatives, business leaders and national and international experts, the conference will serve as a meeting point for debate on regulation, innovation and industrial competitiveness within the circular economy.

This event will take place in person only on 29 October at the Mutua Madrileña Conference Center in Madrid. Buy your ticket and see the programme – you'll need to register by 15 October.

Two sessions will be in English (Creating demand in Europe for secondary materials and circular products and Financing the circular economy: investment and business models), and the session on Waste treatment and market unity in Spain will be in Spanish. However, simultaneous interpreting will be provided through a simple application on your mobile phone. Don't forget to bring your own earphones or headphones, which you can connect to your device to follow the presentations.
