The recently adopted EU Strategy for Plastics addresses possible approaches to single-use plastic items and marine litter. A  public consultation was launched as part of the analytical work started to determine the scope of a legislative initiative on single-use plastics at EU level to be tabled by this Commission, following the approach used for light-weight plastic bags. Many replies were already submited but there is still time to contribute! It will remain open until 12.02.2018.
