The 3rd edition of the World Circular Economy Forum 2019 (WCEF2019) took place in Helsinki, Finland, on 3-5 June 2019. It presented the most advanced circular solutions for governments, industries, businesses and citizens and put a strong emphasis on the next level of circularity and how to scale up the transition.

Combining 17 plenary and parallel sessions with keynote speeches, thematic discussions and networking opportunities, the WCEF2019 has been a landmark event of the year.

This year, the Forum brought together over 2200 key circular economy thinkers and doers from 90 countries around the world. Its focus was on moving the circular economy into the next era and transforming this "best kept secret" into a global impact.

There was a strong ECESP contingent, both with its Coordination Group members as well as the European CE community at large. Many visitors from outside Europe visited our stand, showcasing European ideas and good practices, sharing our vision and highlighting the value it creates.

Next year the WCEF2020 will be hosted in Canada.
