ECESP chair Ladeja Godina Košir to moderate circular economy discussions at 2019 Bled Strategic Forum

The 14th Bled Strategic Forum (BSF), hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and titled (Re)sources of (In)stability, will take place from 31 August to 3 September 2019 in Bled, Slovenia. At this high-level conference, government ministers, business representatives and civil society leaders from Central Europe and beyond will convene to discuss the effective management of resources in strategic relations, focusing on the role (re)sources play regarding peace and security, sustainable development, and economic progress.

On 2 September, Ladeja Godina Košir, Founder and Director of Circular Change, and Chair of the ECESP Coordination Group, will moderate a session titled Let's talk about sustainability - featuring two of America's and Europe's foremost pioneers in sustainability policy: Professor Jeffrey Sachs and former Commissioner Janez Potočnik , now head of the International Resource Panel.

The following day, Circular Change and Ladeja Godina Košir will host a discussion on Climate Change: Saving the Planet by Going Circular. With a panel ranging from Norwegian, Dutch and US civil society leaders to the European Commission and Microsoft to Finnish, Monegasque and Scottish government representatives, there promises to be a holistic range of perspectives on how circular innovation can realise a low-carbon economy.
