The sustainable product policy, an essential part of the European Commission's new Circular Economy Action Plan, addresses one of the root causes of the sustainability crisis: the short lifespan of products. This policy also promotes circularity in product design as a solution. The change requires an enabling environment, supportive policies and changes in behaviour.
On 25 March Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, EEA and ECESP organise an #EUCircularTalk on how ownership is changing in a circular economy.
The event will also showcase a circular economy playbook for the manufacturing industry and provide examples of frontrunner businesses operating with circular models.
