Webinar: H&M on "Double Sales – Half Impact" for IT
Between 2012 and 2017, the company H&M worked to halve the environmental impact of its IT, despite the fact that the size of the organisation – in terms of the number of stores – was expected to double during the same period. It was important to H&M that it was able to demonstrate that decoupling is possible, even during a period of strong growth.
Working with IT and reducing environmental impact is a complex matter. Competence, a sense of engagement, a budget and clear leadership were all required for H&M to be successful.
TCO Development has invited H&M to talk about its work on the sustainability initiative “Double Sales – Half Impact”. The webinar on 21 April will explore how the initiative has changed the organisation and what H&M has learned from it. The session will be followed by a discussion between H&M and TCO Development focusing on the sustainability impact of IT products and what your organisation can do.
You will also be invited to ask questions.
This webinar is relevant to you if you would answer in the affirmative to any of the following questions:
- Are you working with sustainable change in your organisation?
- Do you affect procurement decisions?
- Do you have a role to play in sustainable IT solutions?
- Do you want to know more about the “Double Sales – Half Impact” project?
Speakers: Erik Nilsson, Head of Sustainable IT at H&M and Andreas Nobell, Development Manager at TCO Development
