Creating a healthier future for our planet - The role of innovation and partnerships

The transition to zero pollution and a climate-neutral and a circular economy is key to building a healthier future for our planet. It requires rethinking our economy and how we do business; collaboration across borders, value chains and sectors, but also between policy makers, industry and civil society; and finding new ways of working together to address common challenges. Learning from good and innovative examples of co-operation, as well as finding ways to foster and incentivise partnerships and innovation, will be crucial for reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions and making our economy more circular.

The online panel discussion organised by European Policy Centre (EPC) on 1 June 2021 (16.30-17.45 CEST) will bring together policy-makers, and representatives of industry and civil society to discuss the role of innovation and partnerships in achieving zero pollution, climate neutrality and a circular economy. The discussion is held in partnership with Apple and will be chaired by Annika Hedberg, Head of the EPC Sustainable Prosperity for Europe Programme.
