Description

Dienpi S.r.l. specialises in labelling, packaging, thermo-adhesive applications, prints and decorations.

The company produces labels, tags and packaging for fashion brands: from traditional to recycled to smart labels equipped with NFC (Near-Field Communication) technology. Through research and innovation applied to materials, NFC allows for full traceability of the garment, direct communication with the consumer and an entire production cycle geared to the circular economy.

The production of tags and packaging for luxury brands whose production processes are not traditionally linear involves considerable amounts of innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship. The process starts with recovering waste textiles produced by external companies, being creative as regards experimenting with new materials, and finally producing original and unique artisan papers such as paper-wool, paper-silk, paper-denim and cashmere-paper.

Blumine's 2017 report on Dienpi S.r.l., "Analysis of the potential economic value of waste", was definitely encouraging. Thanks to circular best practices in the field of waste management, specifically regarding the reuse of scraps of paper and imitation leather as notepads and covers for samples, in 2016 Dienpi reduced its economic and environmental costs by 0.6 tons or 46.7% by volume and EUR 2 580 or 24.4% in value.

Main results

Dienpi's management and organisational approach fully incorporates its circular and sustainable values:

  1. a transparent, sustainable and responsible production process
  2. the product is certified authentic.
