EIT RawMaterials Expert Forum: Materials for battery innovation
The Expert Forum Series enables participants across Europe to exchange ideas and opinions about innovations and technologies in the industry. It is an opportunity for them to discuss how they can work with other actors to co-create solutions that work for their business.
This year, the Expert Forum Series will comprise three forums across Europe, each focusing on a specific theme enabling in-depth discussions on some of the most pressing challenges in the raw materials sector. The forums will address topics ranging from the future of solar and hydrogen technologies to the role of education in advancing this transition.
The Expert Forum Series is structured around three strategic frameworks or 'Lighthouses': Responsible Sourcing, Sustainable Materials and Circular Societies. Each will focus on specific parts of key industrial value chains, i.e., photovoltaic and hydrogen materials, battery innovation and responsible sourcing. The purpose of the 'Lighthouses', especially when linked up, is to provide EIT RawMaterials Innovation Community partners with a clear framework for debate and – potentially – project design, with a view to receiving funding via EIT RawMaterials.
The EIT RawMaterials Expert Forum event on Materials for Battery Innovation will take place in Darmstadt, Germany on 11 October 2023. EIT RawMaterials partners can attend for free, whereas tickets for non-partners cost €250.
