Aligning policy, practice & innovation for sustainable agriculture
Co-hosted by the NutriBudget and ReNu2Cycle projects, this webinar will bring together leading experts, practitioners and policymakers to explore how policy can drive the adoption of sustainable farming practices through the circular use of nutrients.
NutriBudget is a Horizon Europe project which aims to develop the prototype of a first-of-its-kind integrated nutrient management platform, called NutriPlatform.
ReNu2Cycle (REcycling of NUtrients to close the fertiliser CYCLE) is an Interreg North West Europe project which aims to reduce North West Europe's dependency on fossil-based fertiliser imports by exploiting recycled nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium from municipal and industrial waste and the agricultural sector.
Together, they will present an engaging high-level policy webinar exploring how the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and circular economy policies can better support the adoption of sustainable nutrient management practices in EU agriculture.
The event will cover:
- Nutrient management in the CAP
- Nutrient recovery under the Circular Economy Act
- Insights from research and on-the-ground practices
This event will take place in English at 14:00-16:00 CET on 25 November. Registration.
