New call for evidence on the joint undertakings to be included in Framework Programme 10

The Commission is carrying out a number of consultation activities to help prepare the new Single Basic Act for joint undertakings. The Act will provide a solid, coherent legal basis for the next generation of joint undertakings set up under Article 187 TFEU, ensuring legal certainty, aligned objectives, harmonised procedures and cross-sector synergies.

This call for evidence will collect insights from stakeholders on the role and functioning of the Treaty-based Horizon Europe European Partnerships and Joint Undertakings, such as the PRIMA partnership and the Circular Biobased Europe Joint Undertaking.

The consultation aims to collect general evidence, experience and views from stakeholders on the role and functioning of these structures. It's an opportunity to give your views on possible improvements designed to make the EU more competitive.

The findings will contribute to the impact assessment for the Single Basic Act establishing Joint Undertakings under Framework Programme 10, expected for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Deadline for feedback: 14 July.
