EIT Jumpstarter 2026: apply for a programme supporting innovative ideas in the raw materials sector
EIT Jumpstarter is a seven-month pre-acceleration programme for early-stage innovators in 22+ countries (list on their site). It's been set up by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), an EU body which enables solutions to pressing global challenges and nurtures entrepreneurial talent to create sustainable growth and skilled jobs in Europe.
The programme is powered by key EIT communities, including EIT RawMaterials, a networking organisation committed to supporting Europe’s transition to a green, circular and digital economy.
EIT Jumpstarter is designed to turn ideas into successful businesses through training, mentoring and funding. They are accepting applications from fields including innovative solutions for recovering and reusing materials from secondary sources to support a circular economy.
The programme is open to students and researchers with ideas for innovation that address the biggest challenges in the raw materials sector. It targets early-stage ideas that have not yet been turned into fully developed businesses or startups.
It's a chance to get funding, individual coaching & in-person business training, and expert mentorship from top industry experts, and to connect with investors, potential partners and the EIT innovation ecosystem.
Deadline for applying: 8 May!
