19e Assises de l’économie circulaire (19th Conference on the circular economy)

This conference takes place every two years in Nantes. It brings together stakeholders in waste prevention, management and processing, material and energy use, the circular economy and recycling, together with policymakers and associations.

This year, what used to be more of a conference on waste management will be centred around the circular economy in order to keep up with changes in policy and industry. With a view to anchoring the event at grassroots level, it will be organised jointly with idealCO, a network of local and regional authorities. These authorities play a key role in deploying waste prevention, sorting and recovery policies and this partnership will enable them to give feedback on the various initiatives they have implemented.

There will be a plenary session on each day, along with six tracks stretching across both days on improving production, improving consumption, improving anticipation of future changes, improving support for local and regional areas, improving waste management on a day to day basis, and rolling out reuse more effectively. Pick the track which is in line with your interests, and take part in a mix of plenary sessions and workshops!

This event will take place in French and in person on 30 September – 1 October in Nantes. Buy your ticket and see the programme.
