The latest innovations and sustainable technologies shaping the future of industry will be at the centre of the ACI’s European Food & Beverage Plastic Packaging Summit, taking place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, on the 27th and 28th February 2019.
This 4th edition of the Summit will focus on the industry’s increasing challenge for innovation towards a sustainable future. The best strategies for sustainable packaging will be examined, including recycling and packaging performance, and particular attention will be devoted to brands and retailers, who will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and information on consumer experience and demands for the next generation of packaging.
The conference will also explore the European Commission’s Circular Economy Package, and its impact on the dynamics of the entire supply chain, including the latest developments from the Waste Framework and Packaging directive, as well as the Single Use Plastics Directive.
On Tuesday 26th February a limited number of conference delegates will have the opportunity to visit the Suez Recycling & Recovery Netherlands sorting facility and the floating Recycled Park in Rotterdam.
