Scope

The SeRaMCo (Secondary Raw Materials for Concrete Precast Products) project aims to replace primary raw materials with the high-quality materials recycled from construction and demolition waste (CDW), e.g. concrete, bricks, tiles and ceramics (CBTC), in the production of the cement and concrete products for use in North Western Europe.

The final  SeRaMCo conference, to be held on 25 and 26 March 2020 in Kaiserslautern (DE), will focus on the results of this project’s top-notch research, together with the latest information on building with concrete made from recycled aggregates and sands. To this end, participants will be introduced to innovative concrete precast products. Furthermore, external high-level speakers and experts in the field from research, business and policy-making will be giving interesting insights into the topic.

The conference addresses public authorities and public service providers as potential end users for the products, as well as companies in the precast production and recycling industry, architects, designers and experts of universities and the general public interested in the topic.
