When the circular economy becomes a solidarity-based economy! Together against food waste

Promoting social inclusion as well as combating food waste

By applying circular practices to food waste, the partners of the CirculAbility project want to encourage and train adapted work enterprises to recycle unsold food, through a model that combines environmental, economic and social objectives. This yields immediate benefits for the climate while improving the overall sustainability of our food systems. After all, reducing food waste while stimulating a local, circular economy are all gateways to a more sustainable and inclusive food system. The conference aims to explore this topic, to brainstorm ways to move towards a more sustainable food model and to formulate recommendations for the European authorities.
