bioSOILUTIONS and NPower are Horizon Europe innovation projects. bioSOILUTIONS strives to tackle soil degradation, while NPower seeks to advance sustainable nutrient management.

They are organising an interactive workshop looking at how bio-waste from the agri-food industry can become a valuable resource for healthy soils and sustainable agriculture. Researchers, companies, policymakers and end-users will come together to explore:

  • New soil improvers based on bio-waste
  • Sustainable business models
  • Good practices for the valorisation of bio-waste
  • Possibilities for application in practice

During the session, participants will be able to exchange ideas, network and help shape circular soil solutions on a larger scale.

The workshop will take place at Vergadelzaal B0.3 Granite, Campus Coupure, Ghent University (address: Coupure Links 653, Ghent) at 13:00–15:30 CEST on 1 April. It will be in Dutch and in person only.
