Training opportunities

The CircVET project aimed to develop an extensive, free and tailor-made training course on the circular economy for plastics at European level, adapted to companies' needs and problems. It addresses green skills: improving the knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes needed to live in, develop and support a sustainable and resource-efficient society, with a focus on the plastic industrial sector.

The e-learning platform is intended for managers, trainers and students and includes a set of courses divided into training modules in seven languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian and Lithuanian). It provides a certified training course for trainers, and a system of micro-credentials to be awarded when the students complete modules.

The modules are as follows:

  • General circular economy
  • Eco-design and LCA
  • Digital skills
  • Recycling, upcycling and downcycling
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Users and usage
  • Recovery
  • Entrepreneurship

The CIRCVET consortium includes trainers from universities and VET centres, research centres, clusters and SME representatives who have developed, tested and provided the courses. The project was funded by the ERASMUS call for Alliances for Education and Enterprises and runs from September 2022 to August 2025.
