AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB is a Horizon Europe project connecting research, business and public institutions across Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Belgium and Spain with a view to accelerating innovation in sustainable agriculture and circular bioeconomy.

They are offering up to EUR 50 000 grants to 12 SMEs and startups from Poland, Latvia and Ukraine to develop, test or scale innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture and the circular bioeconomy.

Specifically, they are looking for solutions at TRL 4 or above that can pilot, test or validate innovations making a real difference in the agri-food value chain. 

The projects must contribute to the development of existing or emerging bio-circular value chains, based on new products, solutions and services for testing and optimisation of products and production processes or the exploration of new processing. 

Examples of fundable projects include: 

  • Development of new products and process optimisation solutions; 
  • Development of new processing methods & valorisation solutions; 
  • Implementation of pilot & demonstration projects.

Selected projects will receive up to a EUR 50 000 lump-sum grant plus 12 months (starting in December 2026) of dedicated mentoring, monthly workshops, access to a pan-European network and a final in-person pitch event. You keep full ownership of your intellectual property.

12 projects will be selected: 4 in Poland, 4 in Latvia, 4 in Ukraine. SMEs & startups in Poland, Latvia or Ukraine can apply. The total amount requested must represent 100% of the project costs.
