SYNCRETIX accelerates the transition towards a circular economy by combining knowledge, innovation and collaboration across sectors. Their approach integrates circular economy principles across the entire lifecycle of products, buildings and urban systems while strengthening climate resilience, resource efficiency and long-term sustainability.

Examples of their work include:

• developing the Climate Adaptation Shelter concept for the City of Gliwice as part of the functional programme for the Municipal Social Housing Association. They created a residential building model that combines circular economy principles, climate adaptation, resource efficiency and community resilience;
• contributing to the Working Group of the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology, supporting the development of recommendations for sustainable products aligned with circular economy principles, including regulatory directions and capacity building across value chains;
• participating in the development of the new strategy for the Upper Silesian–Zagłębie Metropolis by preparing recommendations for the sustainable transformation of post-industrial buildings, improving transparency in renovation policies and promoting circular construction practices;
• co-developing, together with the University of Economics in Katowice, ESG education guidelines for property managers, promoting circular business models in the built environment and disseminating good practices through annual academic programmes;
• delivering educational programmes for secondary schools in Silesia on future professions related to the circular economy and the green transition through initiatives financed under the European Green Deal.
